A power supply needs to suit the whole build, including its connectors and physical dimensions. Wattage is a starting point, not a complete measure of suitability or quality.

Before you choose
The right cables are not optional.
Confirm the connectors required by your motherboard and exact graphics card. Allow headroom for the planned configuration and follow manufacturer recommendations. Never mix modular power-supply cables between models unless the manufacturer explicitly confirms compatibility.
